Internet Go League IGLO

IGLO is a friendly League for Go enthusiasts. It aims to build positive relationships between players and increase the level of their game play. This is an opportunity to play longer games on a regular basis and get comments from stronger players. The intention is to it motivate development and deepen the knowledge of Go.

Rules

Abbreviated IGLO rules:

  • One game per week with a default game schedule.
  • The recommended playing time is 40m+3x30.
  • Player who can't attend the game has to reschedule it.
  • Games take place on OGS (preferred server) or KGS.

Participation in IGLO is completely free! We use the support of our patrons to pay for lectures and comments. We encourage you to join if you want to take part in the development of the League and support its further expansion!

What we are able to do thanks to your support:

  • We sign contracts with Teachers, so you can benefit from professional lectures and commentaries tailored to each group (more in Teachers ).
  • We pay for the server and the website domain so each player has their own account and can easily manage their games.
  • We are able to provide the necessary legal and accounting services.
