In order to start playing in the league it is necessary to have an account in our system.

Nick* This is the username visible to other league players.

First name* Your first name will be visible to league administrators and your opponents.

Last name* Your last name will be visible to the league administrators and your opponents.

Rank* Your current strength in GoR points. If you are just starting your adventure with Go enter 100.

Email* Your email address will be visible to league administrators and your opponents. You will use it to log in and receive notifications.

Password* Choose a hard password of at least 8 characters.

GoR rating

GoR points is a system used to evaluate the strength of individual players by the EGF (European Go Federation). The ranking list includes all European players who participated in the official tournaments. The difference between the degrees is set to 100 (for example: 6th dan is 2600 points, 1 kyu is 2000, and 20 kyu is 100, etc.). Knowing your strength will allow us to match you up with the right group in the League.

Where can I find information about GoR points?

If you have already participated in an official tournament your points are listed at your profile in the European Go Database in a box titled 'GoR '.

What if I'm not in the official database?

If you haven't played in an official tournament and don't know your strength enter: 100.
